Update from Pastor Porter - March 20, 2020

Praise the Lord Everyone! I first want to thank you all for your patience and your prayers during this critical time in our nation. We are yet faithful and trusting God through this season, while also working with our local government and community to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our region. Therefore, due to restrictions imposed by city leaders, this upcoming Sunday, we will gather for worship service via live video stream. Sunday School will be streamed live from 9:45am to 10:45am. Worship Service will begin promptly at 11am. The service will be streamed live on Youtube, Facebook and on this website. It will also be accessible on you cell phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs (through the Youtube App).

If you do not have access to the internet, please contact a nearby fellow ARM brother or sister to watch the service with them. Where possible, groups of 4 of 5 should gather at the home of a brother or sister to watch together.

Now, please note that although we will be live steaming the service Sunday morning, we will not neglect prayer or baptism for anyone who desires such. If there is anyone who desires prayer for any reason, please come to the sanctuary. We will lay hands and pray. If there is anyone who desires to be baptized, please come to the sanctuary. We will baptize you in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, we will receive our regular tithes and offering through online giving. Go to www.armchurch.org and click GIVE ONLINE, or use the GIVELIFY app. If anyone is unfamiliar or uncomfortable with those methods, feel free to come to the church to bring your tithes and offerings in person.

For those who come the sanctuary, we will make effort to follow the social distancing guidelines as requested by city leaders. We will assemble and dismiss under strict guidelines - entering in small groups of 10 and dismissing using the same method. We will place emphasis on leaving the campus immediately, so as not to delay or hold up the process.

Finally, I'm asking everyone to please contact those whom you know that may not receive this text message, especially our senior saints, and alert them of this information. And, please, continue diligently in prayer, and fear not. Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. May God Bless You All.

Sincerely,

Pastor Lanford Porter
